A sculptural pair of French wooden pedestal stands dating from the early 20th century. Each piece features a circular top supported by three intersecting, gently curved panels, creating an elegant architectural silhouette with subtle Art Nouveau and Arts & Crafts influences.
The warm-toned wood displays an attractive natural grain and a rich aged patina. Their tall, slender proportions make them ideal for displaying plants, sculptures, ceramics or decorative objects. The two stands can also be stacked together when not in use.
Both remain in good vintage condition, with visible wear, marks and variations in colour consistent with age and use.
