A distinctive French Art Deco cabinet dating from around 1930, crafted in richly grained oak and topped with a dark, beautifully veined marble slab.

The tall and compact design combines decorative character with practical storage. The façade features two pairs of cupboard doors, a central drawer and a drop-front compartment that opens to create a useful writing or serving surface. Each door is decorated with deeply carved, interlocking geometric motifs, giving the piece a strong architectural presence.

Original brass hardware with floral detailing complements the warm tone of the oak, while the rounded upper corners and stepped base enhance its characteristic Art Deco silhouette.

The cabinet remains in good vintage condition with visible age-related wear, patina and natural movement in the wood. Several age-related splits and open joints are present, including on the upper cabinet door and beneath the marble top. These are consistent with the age of the piece and do not affect its functionality.

A versatile statement piece, ideal as a drinks cabinet, small secretary, storage cabinet or decorative hall cabinet.
