Striking pair of mid-century armchairs dating from the 1950s–1960s. The chairs feature sculptural dark-stained wooden frames with angular front supports, gently curved armrests and an elegant open construction.
Their distinctive geometric profiles give the chairs a strong architectural character. The seats and backs are upholstered in dark brown material, beautifully complementing the warm tones of the wooden frames.
A characterful pair suitable as dining armchairs, desk chairs or occasional seating in a modernist interior.
Condition
Good vintage condition with light signs of age and use to the wooden frames. The brown upholstery is in good overall condition. One chair has a very small tear at the front corner of the seat, as shown in the photo. It is barely noticeable.
